The Education focus area is dedicated to ensuring that every child, youth, and adult in Henderson County has the opportunity to reach their full academic and developmental potential—from cradle to career.
Programs in this area aim to:
- Support early childhood education and literacy development
- Improve school readiness and academic achievement at all grade levels
- Provide out-of-school time programs that promote learning, enrichment, and mentorship
- Encourage high school graduation and pathways to post-secondary education or career training
- Offer adult education opportunities that improve life skills and workforce readiness
