HEALTH. EDUCATION.
FINANCIAL STABILITY. WORKFORCE DELEVOPMENT.
UNITED IS THE WAY FOR A THRIVING HENDERSON.

Everyone deserves the opportunity to thrive and succeed. That means access to a quality education, the ability to earn a stable income, good health, and a path to meaningful work. At United Way of Henderson County, our work is focused on strengthening these building blocks so individuals, families, and our entire community can thrive.

A COMMUNITY CONNECTOR.

UNITED IS THE WAY we go beyond grants. United Way brings people, resources, and solutions together to create lasting change. Through Giving for Impact, donors directly support proven local programs that create measurable outcomes. We coordinate disaster response and crisis relief, mobilizing volunteers and resources when our community needs it most. As the convener for the City and County Grant process, we ensure transparency, collaboration, and accountability in local funding.

We also lead volunteer engagement through Days of Caring, support nonprofit sustainability through training and board development, serve as a fiscal agent for key programs like the Emergency Food and Shelter Program, and engage in advocacy that strengthens systems and services across Henderson County.

CHANGING SYSTEMS. EMPOWERING FUTURES.

Advancing the common good is about more than helping one person at a time. It is about strengthening systems so everyone has the opportunity to succeed. When children succeed in school, families are financially stable, people are healthy, and workers are prepared, our entire community wins.

UNITED IS THE WAY we create long-term, sustainable change.
It takes collaboration. It takes investment. It takes all of us.
